Cellulose is a high-performance insulation made primarily from recycled paper fiber and treated with mineral-based additives. The added borates help deter pests, rodents, and fungal growth while also achieving a calls 1A fire rating. Its dense fiber structure provides effective thermal insulation while also helping resist air movement through the insulated cavity.

Cellulose can also provide excellent sound absorption and moisture-buffering characteristics, making it a versatile choice for attics, walls and other building-envelope applications.

Its dense structure makes it an excellent choice for applications where sound control, fire resistance and durability are important, including new construction, renovations, basements and interior partitions.

Fiberglass (Batt & Blown In)

Building Envelope & Ventilation

Building Envelope & Ventilation

Fiberglass is a proven and economical insulation option that has been used successfully in residential construction for decades.

Made from spun glass fibers, it's available in both batt and blown-in applications, it provides reliable thermal performance when properly installed.

A well-designed building envelope helps control heat flow, air movement and moisture while maintaining the intended performance of the insulation.

Air sealing is an important part of this process. Gaps and penetrations in the air barrier can allow uncontrolled air movement and reduce the effectiveness of the overall assembly.

Air sealing is an important part of this process. Gaps and penetrations in the air barrier can allow uncontrolled air movement and reduce the effectiveness of the overall assembly.

Proper attic ventilation and, where applicable, appropriately designed HRV/ERV systems should also be considered as part of the home's overall energy and moisture-management strategy.

What We Offer

Attic Top Offs

Price of hydro getting out of hand? Noticing ice damming on your eves? You may have inadequate R Value and ventilation in your attic. The attic is the number one spot of heat loss in a house and most older homes have the bare minimum, if that, installed. This does not match todays code. By adding blown in cellulose (or blown in Fiberglass) and proper ventilation we can get your electricity bill down, or noticeably reduce the amount of wood needed for heating. Summer or winter, you'll notice a difference. With an attic top off we'll get you to R50 or R60 depending on how much you want in future savings. We'll be in and out in a day, to keep your electricity savings at bay.

New Builds

When building a new home you want someone you can trust and depend on. With hundreds of jobs under our belt we have the expertise and dedication to complete your project, with professional, quality, and a positive attitude, and before we leave, you'll have a code compliant insulated and air/vapour barriered, clean home & project for the next step of your journey. We always leave our clients with a smile on their face. Give us a call today and we'll be happy to drop by with a free estimate.

Renovations and Restorations

From existing home renos to new additions, floors, attics, and exterior walls. Let us take some of the stress off your shoulders and help keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Insulation, sound proofing, and air/vapour barrier, we will make sure that your renovation goes smoothly and worry free with our professional workmanship. All you need to do is give us a call and inquire what type of insulation you want installed. We're here to help.

Sound Seperation

Whether you're renting out a basement suite or just want some quiet in between floors or walls between your bedroom, bathroom, or any other room, we can help dampen the sound generated from floor to floor, room to room by installing and blowing Cellulose, or Safe N Sound Rockwool in-between your homes open wall cavities and floor joists. The difference is night and day. Voices, creeks, footsteps and all other noises travel freely through open wall studs, and open floor joists. Cellulose is the best soundproofing option to reduce and essentially diminish all soundwaves through your home with Rockwool coming in just as strong.

Free Estimates Within 150 km

Give us a call! We offer free, no-obligation estimates for homes and job sites within 150 km of our office. We'll visit your property, assess your project, and provide a clear, detailed quote for the work required.
